The recipe was of broasted chicken was given by a dear friend, Mashaji. Instant and yummy; my kid loved it and my hubby just savored it away. The delicious dish takes a few minutes and less efforts to prepare. Though little oily, it's still yummy ;)

Crispy and Yummy – Loved by Kids !!


Broasted Chicken is very yummy and tasty. Its outer layer is crisp but very tender and soft from inside. Can be serve with any sauce. Its very easy and a less effort dish also can be ready in few minutes. You can serve it to your kids and guests. Enjoy the yummy and crispy broasted chicken.

Recipe – Broasted Chicken

Serves: 4

10 minutes for preparation, 1 hour for marination, 20 minutes for frying


  • 1 kg chicken
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 200 grams corn flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp ajinomoto
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp mustard sauce
  • 2 tsp chili sauce
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp refined flour
  • 1/2 tsp lemon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 pinch yellow color
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste


  1. Wash the chicken and make slits on each pieces and drain the excess water and start marinating with all the  mentioned ingredients accept corn flakes, oil and eggs for about 60 minute.
  2. Crush the cornflakes into granules and keep aside.
  3. Beat the eggs with little salt and pepper and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a wok to fry the chicken. Now dip each marinated piece of chicken into beaten egg and dust with corn flour and roll in crushed cornflakes and deep fry it till crispy and reddish in color.
  5. Take out the chicken pieces on a kitchen towel or a tissue paper to remove the excess oil and serve hot with any of you selected sauce and some assorted vegetables or salad.

You are now ready to serve the yummy and crispy Broasted Chicken with french beans, french fries or any salad and tomato sauce..!!
